**Where exactly is Kazakhstan?**

-So, Kazakhstan is situated on the Eurasian continent, stretching across Europe and Asia divided by the Ural mountains. It shares borders with Russia, China, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, and Turkmenistan, and also adjoins a large part of the Caspian Sea.

Interestingly, the border between Russia and Kazakhstan is the longest continuous land border in the world (7512.8 km or 4,254 mi).

**Where is Shchuchinsk?**

-On the map of Kazakhstan, a small town Shchuchinsk is located right next to Kokshetau, to the North from the capital Astana and close to the Kazakhstan-Russian border on the North.
